Fuego Celebrates Father's Day With An Endless Tecate Beer And Champagne Brunch

Dads don’t have to worry about champagne tastes or beer budgets this year since Fuego will be serving an endless option of both as Hotel Maya presents its Father’s Day Draft Tecate Beer and Champagne Brunch on Sunday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests also enjoy live Latin jazz on the waterfront patio.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

Dad and Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious Father’s Day Brunch that begins with Salads and Assortments including Spring Green Salad with red chili pecans, shaved red onion, tomato, cucumber and daikon champagne vinaigrette; Potato Salad with crab meat, scallions, celery and red pepper; Macaroni Salad with green peas, black forest ham, hard boiled eggs and roasted walnuts; Spring Kale & Berry Salad with strawberries, blackberries and raspberry vinaigrette; Roasted Beet Salad with pepper escabeche, pepitas and cotija cheese; Salpicón de Res with shredded flank steak, red onion tomato, jalapeño and apple cider vinaigrette; Classic Cheeses & Charcuterie Station along with Fresh Fruit and Seasonal Berries; and Antipasto with roasted vegetables, olives, and artichokes.

The Father’s Day Omelet Station presents Omelets “Made to Order” with an assortment of vegetables, meats and cheeses; along with breakfast potatoes, pork sausage, applewood smoked bacon; and Coconut Lobster Bisque with Thai basil cream.

Fuego’s Seafood & Ceviche includes Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Snow Crab Claws and Smoked Seafood Ceviche with bay scallops, mahi mahi and steamed shrimp.

Father’s Day Churrascaria Station features Baby Back Pork Ribs, Portuguese Sausage, and Prime Rib with caramelized sweet plantains, guava barbeque sauce red chimichurri, and creamy horseradish.

Fuego’s Father’s Day Hot Entrées consist of Fuego Eggs Benedict with spinach, applewood smoked bacon and Hollandaise; Fuego Seafood Paella with moist saffron rice, sweet plantains, shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, and chicken Portuguese sausage; Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder with sour orange mojo; Grilled Swordfish with spicy aji pepper and lemon butter sauce; Cheese Tortellini with garlic alfredo sauce; Roasted Whole Chicken with rosemary apricot glaze; along with Yukon potato purée, roasted Brussels sprouts and sweet potato.

Dad’s delicious desserts include an assortment of breads, rolls, mini pastries, brioche and coffeecake along with a selection of miniature desserts, petit fours, chocolate crème brûlée, cup cakes, warm bread pudding and peach cobbler.

Father’s Day Sunday Brunch guests will enjoy endless draft Tecate beer, champagne, sparkling wine, or sparkling cider, in addition to complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.

Fuego’s Father’s Day Champagne Brunch costs $54.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $27.00 for children, 12 and under; Free for children 5 and under; plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
