Live Art Demos and Dining During 'The Artists of Hotel Maya' Sunday Brunch

Hotel Maya presents live art demos and dining during “The Artists of Hotel Maya” art show on Sunday, July 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The art show runs from 12-4 p.m. Live Latin American music will also be preformed on the Fuego patio throughout the day.

“The Artists of Hotel Maya” art show features live painting demonstrations in Fuego’s private tequila tasting room and at the Luna Solstice indoor-outdoor terrace. Several of the artists will demonstrate their painting techniques on oversized communal canvases. There will also be display stations featuring art for sale throughout the property. Live specialty music will be performed during the day to enhance the authentic Latin American event.

Guest artists Dave Van Patten and Rebecca Fries will join many of “The Artists of Hotel Maya” in the Sunday, July 27 art show including Steven Amado, Jonathan Bueno, Christopher Grinnell, Alex Rios, Rhett Johnson, Ivan D'Avy, Noel Madrid, Roberto Mainguia, Edith Mondragon, Rob Padilla, Ramon Rodriguez, Aaron Meek, Leah Dixon and Paul Dominguez.

“’The Artists of Hotel Maya’ art show is extremely popular in public attendance and artists’ sales. We also feature their art work daily throughout Hotel Maya, which captures the true spirit of Latin American culture for our guests,” said Kristi Allen, General Manager at Hotel Maya – a Doubletree by Hilton. “In addition, Hotel Maya features a variety of Latin American themed programs throughout the year including the upcoming free Latin Dance Series in August.”

Hotel Maya created and hosts “The Artists of Hotel Maya” exhibition that presents 14 leading, internationally acclaimed Latin American artists whose works are featured in various locations in Hotel Maya’s public spaces. Hotel Maya’s Latin American art, dance and music events include the Fuego Latin Brunch Dine and Dance Series featuring free Tango lessons on August 24 and Samba lessons on October 19. Free Salsa lessons were offered on March 30 and Rumba lessons on June 8.

“The Artists of Hotel Maya” art show is free and runs from 12-4 p.m.

Fuego Sunday Brunch costs $37.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $18.50 for children, 12 and under; plus tax and gratuity. An 18 percent gratuity will be added to parties of six or more.
