The Long Beach Airport: Yeah, There's an App for That

City introduces a smart phone app for travelers.

The Long Beach Airport now has its own app.

Functionally called the LGB Airport App, it allows travelers to look up flight arrivals and departures, track specific flights, get information about parking and concessions and plan their visits to Long Beach, according to a city press release.

“Travelers can now book a flight or rent a car straight from the LGB Airport app,” Mayor Bob Foster said in a statement. “It also is a direct link to listings of special events, conferences, dining and entertainment options via the Long Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau.”

Detailed maps offer quick links to airline information; ground transportation options; and terminal layout.

The LGB Airport App is available for free on iTunes and Google Play. The App joins the rest of the Go Long Beach family of Apps, including Go Long Beach, Go Long Beach Public Library, Go Long Beach Police and "Long Beach Animal Care Services.”
