Hotel Maya Presents 'The Artists of Hotel Maya' Art Show

More than 200 guests visit Hotel Maya for “The Artists of Hotel Maya” art show during Sunday brunch with live Latin American music on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Hotel Maya – a Doubletree by Hilton in Long Beach, Calif. Several artists demonstrate their painting techniques on communal canvases including Rhett Johnson, foreground, on a 3’x5’ canvas and Steven Amado on a 7’x9’ canvas at the Esplanade outdoor lounge area beneath a 14-feet tall, 42-feet diameter umbrella. “The Artists of Hotel Maya” also featured live painting demonstration in Fuego’s private tequila tasting room and display stations with art for sale throughout the property. Guest artists Leah Dixon and Dave Van Patten joined many of “The Artists of Hotel Maya” during the art show. “The Artists of Hotel Maya” includes 14 leading, internationally acclaimed Latin American artists whose works are on display throughout the year in Hotel Maya’s public spaces.
