Long Beach Officer Shoots At Car
A suspect with a handgun drew fire from a Long Beach detective, police said.
An undercover Long Beach police detective fired at someone in a car Monday.
The officer-involved shooting at Orange Avenue and North Banner Drive occurred shortly before 1 p.m., Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department said.
The suspect displayed a handgun, prompting the shooting, she said. The detective was on foot.
