Police Release Video of Man who Robbed Restaurant Employees at Knifepoint

Long Beach police today released surveillance images of a suspect wanted for committing a restaurant robbery at knifepoint last week.

The holdup occurred last Wednesday about 6:30 p.m. at an eatery in the 100 block of Linden Avenue, according to Long Beach police. The suspect approached one of the employees, with whom he had a brief conversation, then pulled out a knife and demanded money.

The employee opened the cash register and handed him cash. The suspect was last seen running north on Linden.

The suspect was described as black, about 50 years old, wearing a black cap, a blue-and-white plaid colored shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about his identity or whereabouts was asked to call Detective Don Collier at (562) 570-7464.
