Los Angeles, population 38.3 million, has not been willing or able to support a professionalRead More football team since 1994. Meanwhile, Seattle, population 634 thousand (only about 100k more than Long Beach), has managed to fully support it's team, the Seahawks, during a severe recession, all the way to it's recent Super Bowl win. If L.A. truly wants to attract -and retain- a quality pro football team, it will take more than just building a stadium. It will require strong local fan support.
